The soil and the climate are the foundations of agriculture. Isn’t it absurd that agriculture is contributing to their destruction?
As a pilot project of “Climate-Neutral Agriculture Graubünden,” we want to help bring agriculture, the soil, and the climate into a sustainable balance. Our goal: Within five years, the winery should not only be climate-neutral but also store additional CO2. Thanks to our efforts so far, we are already nearly CO2-neutral today.
As the next step to benefit the climate, we plan to implement “regenerative agriculture” practices, which promise significant humus buildup, healthier vines, and thus even higher grape quality.
Soil improvement is complemented by the promotion of biodiversity: planting hedges, creating nesting sites for weasels, and sowing flowers and herbs. Reducing the use of pesticides and utilizing lighter, preferably electric equipment are further priorities on our agenda.

We certainly won't get bored…
