The best Swiss sparkling wine

In 2021, the first sparkling wine Johannes produced was named the best sparkling wine in Switzerland by *Blick*. It was the 2017 vintage, which underwent bottle fermentation at the winery and was then allowed to age on the lees for three years before being disgorged and released for sale in 2021. The entire vintage went exclusively to the Alten Torkel in Jenins. Anyone interested in tasting this project by Johannes should contact Oli directly. It’s safe to assume he’s still got a few bottles set aside. Let’s hope so!
Currently, one of its successors, the “Réserve 2020,” is available, having aged on the lees for a full five years.
